Now that fall is here, you may be wondering what vegetables are in season. Well, there are plenty of great fall-harvested veggies to choose from - cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, pumpkin, acorn squash, butternut squash, and a favorite of mine - Brussels sprouts. These fall vegetables are quite versatile and tasty when shredded, steamed, boiled, puréed, sautéed, fried, and roasted. Just add a little salt, pepper, and perhaps a dash of garlic powder and you're ready for a great meal.
