The goodness of cauliflower

Cauliflower is such an awesome vegetable! Firstly, check out all the lovely colors cauliflower comes in – white, orange, purple, and green. The colorful eye-appeal makes for beautiful crudité platters, salads, or even roasted, sautéed, or steamed veggie side dishes. Simply steam your rinsed cauliflower in a small amount of water, a few pats of butter (or not, if keeping things vegan), and sprinkle with sea salt and chopped parsley and there you have it – a quick, delicious side dish. Alternatively, jazz things up with more robust flavors such as a medley of dried garlic, paprika, cumin, and cayenne powders (along with a sprinkle of sea salt) and roast (or even broil) your rinsed cauliflower in the oven. Not only is cauliflower delicious, but it’s full of nutrition – brimming with vitamin C along with vitamins K and B6 as well as omega-3 fats and fiber. Give cauliflower a try when cooking your next meal – enjoy!
